Bath Numero Uno
Think of it less like a bath but more like rinsing dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, but with more movement. Thankfully we had a helping hand for this first bath. I think that the goal is to take the number of people required for the bath from three down to one. We'll get there eventually. (Don't even ask me how many people it takes to get him to the doctor; we're working on that and will report the results next week). In all honesty, he handled the bath like a champ. As for me, I was right there with the towel when it was over. Last time he was around this much water, the temperature was around 98.6 deg. But at that time, he didn't have any of the volume building Johnson's baby shampoo to use. Too bad we don't have any pictures of the "after". We used his mother's fancy Elchim hair dryer and he looked great. In about 8 weeks, his hair will be Erica's problem.

ReplyDeleteActually, anonymous reader, that's Ed's belly. He's been working out you know, so we wanted to pretend that Max had a six-pack set of abs. We photoshopped Ed's belly onto Max's.
ReplyDeleteAlso, let's be sure we don't confuse "belly" w/ "Bella". If you were to say, "who's 'Bella' is that?", chances are it's a Saporito kid. See my next post. - Ed
Oh how adorable he is in his bath. Babies usually cry at bathtime when they are so young, so you must be doing a wonderful job keeping him warm and cozy. He is so special, Grandma and Grandpa Rerisi a kvelling!!! Lol!!
