Mr Big Head

Earlier in the week Grandma Gail and camera shy Grandpa Vic stopped by. As a special treat, Natasha and I dressed Max up in his Duke outfit. It's been a while, so the memories of the disappointing basketball season are over. While Big Vic hid from the camera, boy did he have a good time at Gracious Home. "A hardware store like this, 2 floors below ground?!?!" He hasn't been that excited since he discovered Pomodoro. At Gracious Home, we bought some anchors, screws of two sizes, matching washers and some potpourri. We used the hardware to hang the cool new window treatment in Max's room that Grandma Gail made from hand. We then used the potpourri to disguise the smell in Max's room. The window treatment thingee is quite nice, it's amazing that my mother was able to loom the fabric by hand on her recent trip to Bangladesh. We'll post pictures of the window later this weekend, perhaps after I mount his speakers and complete my gigabit ethernet network. (By the way, the potpourri bit is completely fictitious).

Why is this post called Mr Big Head? See the last picture, and you'll know why. Mark Kahn would be proud!
