Not all of you will really appreciate the
Spinal Tap
reference, but it's definitely applicable in Max's case. If you're at 4 oz per feeding, and want to go a little more, you go to the 9 oz bottles. Thankfully, on day two, Brenda said ditch the 4 oz bottles and return them for the 9 oz ones. We were maxed out on the 4 oz bottles around week three. Yesterday, we went from 6 1/2 oz up to 7 oz per bottle, rapidly nearing the 9 oz limit for each bottle. Where do we go from here? Well, I did some experimenting earlier today and was able to retro fit a Vintage seltzer bottle cap with a BHP-free, silicone Born Free nipple. So, when we reach the limits of the 9 oz bottles, we can go all the way up to 1 liter, 33.8 oz. I'll be ready. We've also investigated having formula delivered to our apartment like fuel oil, but so far we haven't been able to locate a reliable supplier.
