Big Boy Stroller!

"What's the worse that can happen? He slides out of the stroller while traversing a pot hole?" That was my reasoning for shifting Max's stroller into the big boy version. Besides, they recently repaved a bunch of streets on the UWS and there were far fewer pot holes these days. In case you're confused, you can see a picture of the old stroller configuration, the bassinet version, here.

This new version is sorted like a flat, but not a fully flat, first class airline seat. It has three positions: Back, reclined and awkwardly upright. We prefer reclined, as does Max. It took a while to figure it out, but eventually we got it set up and buckled Max in. (It's never tight, it's rather strange). Once complete, Max was quite happy as you can see. Eventually on our walk Sunday morning, Max passed out in the new stroller configuration. This was his first journey to the Hudson River -- you can see the GWB in the background. They recently finished a brand new park there, complete with a playground for the kids, beer and wine for the parents, free kayaking and baseball fields. Seriously! It's really cool. During our recent visit, Mamapalooza was going on, but thankfully we didn't stick around. That wasn't as cool.
