Nana's Birthday

For Max, his grandmother's birthdays are separated by only 18 days. Yes, that's true.
(And yes, only two days separate his parents' birthdays. That's also true -- not that Meri's
bitter or anything.) Forgive the digression. Meri was in London while the in-laws came over
for a royal dinner of pizza and meatballs complete with cupcakes from Magnolia and noisemakers
from the 1960s. Where these came from, I don't know, but Max loved them.

The pictures below also illustrate an interesting aspect of his personality. In general, Max
is a typical 19~ish month old. Sharing isn't on the top of his list of stuff to do. But for
some reason, he has always shared food when asked and always does it with a smile.
With a cell phone he's a bit more possessive. But with a cookie, cake or milk, he's always
up to share his good eats. Though maybe he knows what it feels like to eat too much
cupcake, as seen in the last photo. Too much Magnolia is indeed a bad thing, so maybe
he was just doing what's best for him afterall!
