The Calm Greenport Waters

A little known fact is that there's a small private beach by Grandparents' Vic & Gail's place. No one knows about it since the "boat Grandparents" set foot on it only once a year, for the attendance required association beach party. (While attendance really isn't required, it's the free beer that attracts area residents). The Greenport beach is much, much different than the Rockway beach. To give people a better understanding of the differences between each beach, here's a partial list:

Rockaway has larger waves; good for older kids, not so good for younger kids
Greenport has boat-wake generated waves; more annoying than anything else
Winner: Rockaway

Rockaway has great company
Greenport has more ospreys than people
Winner: Toss up

Rockaway has concessions (you know, the Italian ice consortium and their three-wheeled carts)
Greenport is strictly BYO
Winner: Greenport; You can't get a ticket for a Sex on the Beach (Or is it a Sea Breeze?)

Rockway has powder-like sand
Greenport sand isn't as bad as Bayville sand, but still rockier than Rockaway (which is ironic, don't ya think?)
Winner: Rockaway

Rockaway only has ugly clam shells that can double as a bath for Max, seriously, they're enormous
Greenport has pretty scallop shells that can slice open your feet if stepped on
Winner: Neither

As you can see, the Rockaway beach wins 2 to 1 based upon the above criteria. Note that the Creek Beach (aka Mud City) in Bayville would have negative 200 points in this competition.

No, not everything needs to be a competition... So see below for some beach shots of Max at the Greenport beach:
