Max's First Birthday: The Cake!

Here's a good "before" picture of the cake. Too bad it was hard to move, otherwise I would have done a better job photographing the matching flowers. Last thing we needed was the jungle cake on the floor!

At this point, Max is mesmerised by one of two things: either the open flame at the top of the cake or the animals. Or maybe be both. Either way, he knows good things are about to come.
















At this point, it's clearly the smoke that has captured his attention.
And at this point, he already got a taste of the icing, so it's time to dig in to the cake.
