Hanukkah in Rockaway

We had a nice Hanukkah brunch in Rockaway. Now that he's an expert, Max showed Layne
how to open presents. After they opened the books, Max read the story to Layne. One other
highlight of the family get together was learning that Dirt Devil makes noisy children's toys that
are even louder than their real counterparts. What makes them tolerable, however, is that Max
absolutely loves his toy vacuum. What's up with that? Seriously? Why do kids love these things?
The only thing he likes more than the Dirt Devil is the real Black and Decker dust buster we have
at home. Max received lots of other gifts, of course, including the doctor's kit that has now come
with us a couple of times to the pediatrician's office. And the final highlight of Hanukkah was the
stare-down between the Maxes.
