When Meri and I learned that they were participating in Kid's Restaurant Week, we knew we had to take Max. As part of the promotion, adults enjoy a price-fixed meal and kids pay their age for their meal. So what does one get for a dollar at Telepan? A zucchini frittata, steak frites and a homemade smores ice cream sundae. The sundae included homemade graham crackers and marshmallows! What a bargain for a buck! Likely the best kids meal ever.
Initially Max was his usual self. Flirting with the wait staff, playing with the silverware and wine glasses, bouncing up and down on the seat. Then once we put him in the high chair, he was all business and was very, very well behaved. He finally gave in after dessert when he put his head on the table to rest.
But, why no pictures? The mere sight of a camera will make him nuts, like kittens on cat nip. We left the camera at home and played it safe!
