Good weather for Thanksgiving means enormous crowds on 67
th Street. I recently
learned why -- Macy's now requires tickets along the east side of
CPW. So while we didn't get all that close to the action, at least we can say we made it there. Despite the giant balloons, Max liked the ones some street vendor was hawking instead. For 10 bucks, you could get a 2 foot Dora balloon. As you can see from the pictures here, Max couldn't get his eyes off these pricey balloons for sale, while Kermit makes his way in the parade. Maybe next year we'll get there earlier for better seats. But then again, maybe next year I'll fork over the 10 bucks for a balloon and we can watch from the comfort of our living room like everyone else!
